The key differentiators are IRATA rope access certification (required for working at height on overhead glazing without scaffolding), knowledge of overhead-specific materials and failure modes, experience with the access planning and temporary weatherproofing required for occupied buildings, and the health and safety accreditations required by commercial building owners and their insurers.

CHAS Elite accreditation confirms our health and safety management systems have been independently assessed to the highest level. SafeContractor approval provides an additional layer of health and safety verification.

Our site operatives hold IRATA Level 1, 2 and 3 rope access certifications, IPAF operator licences for MEWPs, CSCS cards, and first aid qualifications. All works are carried out under a formal Construction Phase Plan with full RAMS documentation, and we carry £10 million public liability insurance as standard.

We have delivered atrium glazing projects across the full range of commercial building types: regional and local shopping centres, corporate headquarters and office campuses, civic and public buildings, university and education facilities, healthcare buildings, and transport hubs.

Our project experience spans the full scope of overhead glazing work: emergency leak repairs, planned maintenance programmes, individual glass unit replacements, comprehensive repair and refurbishment programmes, and full system replacements. We have worked in buildings ranging from small office atriums of 100m² to large regional shopping centre atriums exceeding 3,000m².

We cover the whole of the UK from our base in South Yorkshire. Our rope access teams can mobilise rapidly for emergency works, and we maintain a national network of specialist subcontractors for crane operations and specialist access requirements.

Working with Facilities Managers and Building Owners

The majority of our work is instructed directly by facilities managers, building surveyors and property managers responsible for commercial buildings. We understand the pressures of managing a live commercial building — the need to maintain operations, manage contractor access, satisfy health and safety requirements and control costs.

Our project management approach is designed to minimise the burden on building management teams. We prepare all RAMS documentation, liaise directly with tenants and building users on access arrangements, provide regular progress updates, and manage all waste disposal and site clearance. Our project managers are experienced in the specific requirements of occupied commercial buildings and are available directly throughout the project.
